In His resuurection he imparted the divine life into us and made  us same as he is.  This is the basic concept of regeneration. Regneration like redemption and justification, is an aspect of God's full salvation.  It will solve our rebellion against God and will reconcile us unto Him.  It will bring us ito a relationship of life, an organic union with God and it will results in a living hope.   JESUS CHRIST -THE LORD AND GOD Colossians  3:12-17 "Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience."  Col 12 The Book of Colossians is one of the many books in the New Testament written by the Apostle Paul. Many of these books, also called Epistles are letters addressed to a specific person or persons for a specific reason. This particular letter was written to a group of believers in the city of Colossae, a church that Paul did not find, but had a positive relationship with. Paul is teaching the Colossian church to live as their new selves. He reminds them that they are chosen by God, set apart as holy, and deeply loved by Him. This identity in Christ is the foundation upon which Paul encourages them to build their lives.   JESUS CHRIST -THE LORD AND GOD   Bible  portion : Gen:32: 22-32 Verse: 26:    And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said,   I will not let you go, except thou bless me. Devotional text     Jacob finds blessing from God through pain.    Jacob  took over his immediate family across the river Jabbok.  He was alone and was afraid of the darkness in  the night.  Probably  he wanted to be alone for sometime , preparing himself  to meet his brother Esau and his army of 400 men, the next day.  suddenly there appeared a man from no where, trying to subdue him with wrestling.   After a while Jacob found out that he is not going to win, however, he was given the strength to wrestle  almost to the break of the day by the divine help which he did not realize  immediately.   The man tried to identify Jacob as if he did not know, and was trying to leave him near to the dawn.  ...

    JESUS CHRIST   -THE LORD AND GOD    Bible portion:  Isaiah  43:1-12 Verse: 2  when you pass through the waters, I will be  with you, and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk  through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. Devotional text   Prophet Isaiah   chapter 43 reflects God's care and concern for the Israel people.  Biblical context of the portion is that  the Jews had become spiritually blind and rebellious. Therefore Isaiah said God was punishing and pouring out anger  on them. However God wants to encourage those people who are in obedience  to him.  Lord was trying to raise a level of confidence by confirming ownership of His people.   JESUS CHRIST -THE LORD AND GOD   Bible portion:  Phil:2: 9-11 Verse:  11  And every tongue  should openly confess that Jesus Christ is “Lord”  to the glory of the father.   The death on the cross is the climax of Jesus's humiliation. Lord's humiliation involved seven steps.  1.emptying Himself, 2. taking the form of a slave, 3. becoming in the likeness of men, 4. humbling Himself,  5. becoming obedient,6. Being obdient even unto death, 7. obedient unto the death on the cross.  This chapter  describes the need for confessing that Jesus  Christ is Lord,  which is to be uttered by men whether saved or not, all in heaven, earh and under the earth.  Paul is speaking of the victory of the Lord Jesus earned  through His sacrifice, the pain he endured on the cross,  bo the weight  he bore of our sin, death he suffered  that we all deserved, his obedience to the will of the Father, and that the God e...

  Jesus Christ, the One Who Defeated Death and Ressurrected John 20:1-18 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” (v.17)   Christ Has Risen! Indeed He Has Risen!                    When we look at the greatest achievement of the world, the resurrection of our Lord Jesus, we must first understand the story of the empty tomb. Mary Magdalene went to the tomb where Jesus laid in the early morning hours, when the world was still covered in darkness. She couldn't believe what she discovered inside, the tomb was empty and the stone was rolled away.
