Creation Speaks of God

Bible Reading: : Luke 12:24-27

Key verse:  24

  “…yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are…. “(Luke 12:24)

DEVOTION

Every day at a self-set time, four baby ducklings along with their mother Duck visits us in our back yard. All of them stand in a row, lifting their neck, quacks to let us know that they have come and they need something to eat. They wait patiently, persistently quacking till they get something.
Once while looking at our ducklings, a question sparked inside me. “How do they get their food when I am not there?  Bible gives the absolute answer, “…yet God feeds them…”. 
God added another answer to my same question, which I often take it for granted in my busy daily schedules, “it is not just the provisions that I have for you, but the value that I hold for you”. 
Let us ask God persistently, wait patiently and thank Him unceasingly for the provisions of time, talents, money, strength and above all, the value He holds for us.

PRAYER

Thank you Lord God, for, you are Jehovah Jireh, my Grace-filled Provider and Valuer.

PRIESTHOOD: THE ANOINTED MINISTRY Exodus 40:12-16 Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting... wash them with water. Then dress Aaron in the sacred garments, anoint him and consecrate him so he may serve me as priest (Exodus 40: 12-13). Priesthood among the people of God was a divine command and initiation. God wanted some people to be separated for the special ministry among his people. God appointed Aaron and his descendants to take up this kind of ministry among the people of God. Priests are always separated and appointed as channels that connect God with his people.
