God’s Voice in a Noisy World

Bible Reading: : John 20 :19-23

Key Verse: 19

We hear Jesus  say "Peace be with you "

DEVOTION

The disciples were afraid and hiding behind locked doors, but Jesus came and stood with them, saying these words. He breathed on them and gave them the Holy Spirit, showing them that He would always be with them and bring peace. Jesus does not wait for everything to be calm before coming to us. He comes to us when our emotions are all over the place. He enters the closed places in our hearts and speaks peace with confidence. Even when life feels chaotic, God brings comfort and certainty. Like the disciples, we know what it feels like to be "locked inside." We can feel trapped by worry, sadness, stress, anger, or fear. Life can be overwhelming, especially when we rely on our phones so much. Our schedules are full, and even our thoughts can be noisy. Many of us have felt anxious about exams, interviews, or our children's future, making it hard to focus. But Jesus always comes into that place of discouragement and says to us, “Peace be with you.” The Holy Spirit helps us hear Christ, even when life is busy and full of distractions. And God’s peace, shalom, is more than a quiet moment. It is the deep security of knowing that we belong to God. This does not mean all our problems will disappear. It means Jesus stays with us. He gives us strength when we feel weak and comfort when life feels too heavy to carry. So, remember this: Jesus is near. His spirit is with you, His peace is still real.

                                            PRAYER

Lord Jesus, come into my fear and worry. Breathe your peace into my heart . Help me hear your voice today. Holy spirit guide me and calm me  Amen.
