CELEBRATION OF LOVE:  THE LORD IS COMING

Bible Reading: :: John 14: 1-7

Key verse

Bible Verse:: 3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back  and take you to be with me that you  also may be where I am.

DEVOTION

  This passage beautifully intertwines the themes of love, hope and divine presence.  In John 14: 1-7  Jesus comforts His dsiciples, assuring them not to get their hearts troubled. He speaks of His Father's house, where there are many rooms, emphasizing the promise of eternal life, and a place for each believer.
REFLECTION ON CELEBRATION OF LOVE AND ANTICIPATION OF THE LORD
LOVE AS A FOUNDATION: Jesus begins with a call to peace and faith. His words reminds us that love is the foundation of our relationship with God. In our celebrations of love – whether in our families, friendships, or communities- we reflect the love, Christ has for us. 2.  THE PROMISE OF HOME  : The imagery of many rooms in the Father's house signifies inclusivity and belonging. This is a powerful reminder of God's  desire for a close relationship with each person. As we celebrate love, we also celebrate the promise of eternal communion with Him.  3. KNOWING THE WAY:  Jesus states, “ I am the way, truth, and the Life”. This declaration invites us to deepen our understanding of love.  Love is not merely an emotion; it is a pathway to know the God intimately. By following Jesus Christ we embody love in our lives  and relationships.  4. ANTICIPATION OF HIS COMING:  The hope of Jesus's second coming  is central to our faith. This anticipation enriches our celebrations, reminding us that our love is not just for the present, but also a preparation for the eternity. As we gather in love, we look forward to His return which will fulfill every promise.
KEY POINTS IN SUMMARY:    a. Recognize love as a divine gift and a
          reflection of God's character.  b.  Understand that we are all part of God's
          family with a place prepared for us.  c.   Seek to live in a way that reflects
          Jesus'  love and teachings.  d.  Allow hope of Christ's return to inspire and
          enrich  our celebrations and relationships.

PRAYER

 Lord Jesus, fill our hearts with the understanding that we are all part of God's family, help us to live ina way that reflects your love, and anticipate  for your return , fostering acts of kindness, support, or sharing the message of hope with others as we  learn in your teachings .Amen.
