We are currently living in a world system in which materialism is engulfing all
the areas of our life. We believers are also not immune to this state of life. Our
brains are constantly getting feeds from reels or visuals which are coming as information or movie clips etc.
This way of life is affecting the personal prayer life of many believers. This is
indeed affecting the family life of many. Our generation has become so
lukewarm that we forget to realize our current stage of wretchedness, poverty
blindness, and nakedness, Today's portion is taken from Revelations 21:1 to
8.The last book of the Bible is giving us great hope. As God finishes the last chapters of the Bible, we can see a glimpse of heaven in
which God is going to Tabernacle among us. He will wipe away all our
sorrows no more death, pain, morning, or crying. He's Alpha and Omega, the
beginning and the end . He is ready to give us the living water if we are genuinely thirsty, but unfortunately, we lost our spiritual thirstiness.
Now who is going to get these privileges? The general notion once saved is
always saved is wrong but unless and until we are overcomers we are not
going to enter into his rest. We should willingly crucify our ‘self’ daily and need to yield to the guidance of the Holy Spirit each moment.
On the cavalry, Jesus said it is finished. He completed his mission of taking
the sins of all mankind and died on their behalf. Even before, during his 33
and 1/2 years on earth as a sinless person even though he was tempted like
all of us, but he never committed any sin and he always obeyed his father's will. This constant obedience and submission to the Father’s
will kept Jesus pure because many of us think that Jesus is God and he is pure and holy which is true, but he has the same temptations like us but he never
yielded to any temptations Because of His victorious life, the lost communion
in the Garden of Eden is going to be restored during his second coming. The integrity of mankind is possible only if we become overcomers.
As written in Hebrews 12, let us lay aside every encumbrance and the sin so
easily entangles and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, not on
any earthly things.

Prayer
Father Lord help us to daily crucify our self and to lead an obedient life so that when you come help us to stay with you always.
