 UNIVERSAL SALVATION IN CHRIST

1 Corinthians 1:18-25

Vs.21- For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe...

       This verse is the strength of those who believe in the power of Christ’s sacrificial death! As quoted by Paul whether Jew or Gentile and as in the present days, whichever religion one is stamped by the world, as long you believe that Christ’s blood is sufficient for thee – YOU ARE SAVED!
This thought or doctrine may seem foolish to the wise of the world, the atheists, the skeptics, etc. but the magic behind it is that once you have tasted the Lord you will not turn back. Everything that goes on in your life has a new meaning and purpose in your life. God’s invisible hands are hard to go unnoticed and we unveil His Divine Plan for us. It is profound love and joy to know that you are in His plan and that the wisdom of this world is just so insignificant and the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding you gain in this world is just a means to survive in this earthly life. But the foolishness of God is what opens our eyes to the eternal life beyond!
Isaiah 29:14 says it too:
“ Therefore once more I will astound these people
    with wonder upon wonder;
the wisdom of the wise will perish,
    the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.”
Universal Salvation comes through the blind and sincere belief and faith that the blood of Jesus Christ is able to save one from eternal sin and death. The power of his blood is good enough for the sanctification of this world and its souls!
My cousin, Sujo John, was one of the survivors of the fallen twin towers. His account mentions that amid the confusion and debris, “he felt challenged to tell the people around him that they were going to die and if anyone didn’t know Jesus that they should call on His name. Then, everyone around him started crying, “Jesus!” By then, the whole building collapsed, and they were in the debris.” Only the love and power of Jesus’s name can set a believer’s heart on fire (believer of Christ) to help other souls to reach eternity.
It further says in 1 Cor 1:27: But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
May God enable us to walk in His ways and use us to be His instrument in saving souls no matter what race, religion, creed, sexuality, and whatever divisions the world has labeled us to be. May His plan for universal salvation be attained.

Prayer
Dear God, we thank you for the salvation you have brought to this world. Strengthen us as we shine forth the light to all the people we meet. Amen

Thought for the Day
God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit- the Holy Trinity will have the ultimate victory over sin- not by separating the people infected with it from themselves- but by redeeming them all by the mercy of the Father, the power of Son’s sacrificial blood and the Holy Spirit’s works/interventions in preparing human minds in order to understand God's truth.
