 FAMILY: Replica of the Kingdom of God

 Colossians 3:18-25
        Verse: 23  Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men. Since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward.

 Family is the fundamental institution of the society ordained by God. Being a part of the family of God is the greatest blessing bestowed upon believers and that should drive us to our knees in humble adoration. Apostle Paul defined the Kingdom of God in his letter to the churches. The Kingdom of God is within you.  For it is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. The Kingdom of God is also called the Kingdom of Heaven, it is the spiritual realm,  over which God reigns as the King, and where the fulfillment of His will prevails.  That is why when we utter the Lord's prayer, we repeatedly say,” Thy kingdom come”. 
                         Christian families build relationships between God and members of the family, involving in the acceptance of  God's Kingship in all areas of life.
Qualities of the Kingdom of God:  are faith, purity, simplicity, love for God and your neighbors, honesty, truth, and humility.  How can we be part of the Kingdom: It can only come through repentance, by living the gospel plan of life, and through the salvation given by Jesus Christ. A family where the Kingship of Jesus prevails, Satan is defeated, and the family has spiritual and heavenly influence in their day-to-day life situations. Jesus will be the head of their family and members will be living in His way from then on.
                          How can we reinforce a family in tune with the Kingdom of God?
Family should have daily prayer time, read and study the bible together, include God in their decisions, experience love for each other, teach good values, and serve others together. A happy family is where people find to spend time together,  feel love and learn to love others. Children are reminded to honor their parents, so that
they may live a long life on earth. Such children are a crown to the aged.
                           The Kingdom of God will totally be established on Christ's return, clearing the weeds from his rule. We shall see the Messiah returning to power and glory.
 
Prayer
 Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, the Thy Kingdom come. Come, Lord Jesus to establish your rule in this world. Amen

 Families are a divine part of God's plan. God's Kingdom is invisible to most people because it is a spiritual Kingdom

PRIESTHOOD: THE ANOINTED MINISTRY Exodus 40:12-16 Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting... wash them with water. Then dress Aaron in the sacred garments, anoint him and consecrate him so he may serve me as priest (Exodus 40: 12-13). Priesthood among the people of God was a divine command and initiation. God wanted some people to be separated for the special ministry among his people. God appointed Aaron and his descendants to take up this kind of ministry among the people of God. Priests are always separated and appointed as channels that connect God with his people. All throughout the history of Israel, priests played an important role in connecting people with God and to lead and guide them in the statutes of God.
