Moving Forward:  Stay in Faith, Even when you don’t see it

Dr. Asha Sarah Eapen

“Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God”. Psalms 42:5
As a Child of God, it is important for us to lead a life of victory and abundance to fulfill the destiny that the Lord has intended for us.  For us to achieve that, we must surrender to the Lord not just in times of trials and tribulations, but also in times of joy and happiness.  We may have gone through some difficulties and disappointments in the past years. The Bible says, “If the Lord is with you, who can be against you”.  Let us stay steadfast and seek the Lord first, and see how He will unfold marvelous things for us in our life. We need to understand that everyone, that is around us, is planted by the Lord intentionally to fulfill our destiny.  God’s plan for us may be much bigger than we have ever prayed or imagined.  We need to seek Him first, keep Him close to our heart and our God will reward our obedience in multitudes more than  we could have  ever imagined.
Even when things are not going our way, our faith in the Lord should never waiver and we should allow Him to direct our steps.  Trust in Him and invite Him everyday to guide us  and protect us.  One touch of the Lord can turn things around for us.  One favor from Him and our tears will be turned into joy.
If we study the Bible regularly and obey the Word, we will be able to fill our minds with positive thoughts. Life is full of difficulties and challenges.  When despair engulfs us, we should try to surround ourselves, with people that allow the Lord to direct God’s love into our hearts and minds. We need to keep believing in His promises even when our situation looks impossible. When we stay in faith and hold on to His promises, He will bring every promise to pass in our life in His time.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, You are the master of this universe. Guide us and protect us and lead us according to Your will.  Amen.
