THE DEPTH OF GRACE: HUMBLING OURSELVES IN WORSHIP

Bible Reading: Romans 11:33-36

Key verse: Verse: 33., Oh, depths of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How un searchable are His judgements and untraceable His ways!

DEVOTION

Theologians share the belief that this passage is the best doxology in scripture.  It has to be understood in the context that Paul is praising God after
expounding the wondrous truths from much of this letter.  Apostle Paul spoke about the justification through faith, God's mercy and grace on the Jews as well as Gentiles,  and about the depth of His riches. Riches of God refers to Grace and mercy, His wonderful kindness to give eternal life to all who will call on his name.
Key truths to reflect upon are:

THE DEPTH OF GOD'S WISDOM :   Paul gives us a reminder that God's understanding surpasses human comprehension.  In our lives,  We often encounter situations that are beyond our understanding, but can take comfort in knowing that God's wisdom is infinite.
UNSEARCHABLE  JUDGEMENTS:  These two words  highlights the idea that God's decisions  are not understandable to us. This challenges us to trust in His plans, even when they seem unclear or difficult. But it encourages us to lean into faith during times of uncertainty, recognizing that God is sovereign.
GOD'S GENEROSITY :  the rhetorical question  about giving to God implies that  everything we have,  comes from Him. We  cannot out-give God, nor expect to earn His favor through our actions. We can only live gratefully, recognizing that all our blessings are gifts from our creator.
THE PURPOSE OF ALL THINGS: From Him and through Him are all things, highlights the centrality of God in all creation. This perspective invites us to live purposefully, aligning  our activities with God's will.
GLORY TO GOD:  This passage concludes with a powerful affirmation of God's glory. It calls us to recognize that our ultimate goal is to glorify God in all that we do.  This is a reminder that our lives should reflect His greatness and love, and drawing others to Him.

PRAYER

Lord, help us to praise you and express gratitude for your wisdom and generosity, and recognize that everything we have, come from God. Enable us to live purposefully, aligning our activities with God's will .Amen

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

Romans 11:33-36 is a rich reminder of God's wisdom and the importance of living in a way that glorifies Him.  As we reflect on these truths, may our hearts be filled with awe and our lives be marked by praise and faithfulness.
