 CARE ORIENTED EDUCATION

Scripture: Acts:22:1-15

Vs 14.Then He said:, The God of our fathers has chose you to know his will and o see the righteous one and to hear words from his mouth.

The portion deals with a dramatic conversion and testimony of an ardent Jew who persecuted early Christians, because he was a  zealous Jew holding on to the laws of Sanhedrin.  Paul had citizenship of Tarsus as well as being a Roman citizen. Tarsus was a town close to Tarsus river and close to Cicilian gates. He must have come to Jerusalem at an early age to be trained by the most honored Rabbi of the first century ,Gamaliel. Paul received the best education according to the Jewish norms, but God's plan was different. He was equipped and separated for a calling which was unique that made him an apostle of Lord Jesus.
While Saul was reaching near to Damascus, he was called by the resurrected Jesus – through a bright light shone from heaven that made him  blind. Jesus  identified himself as the Lord and master whom Saul was persecuting. Lord sent him to
Ananias an ardent faithful follower of the law  in Damascus.  Saul received his sight back through Ananias, who informed Saul about the new assignment that God is about to entrust – to know His will and see the righteous one. Saul was about to transformed as a new person - Paul, when he learned to see and knew the resurrected Jesus as his new Lord and master.  It was this experience that convinced him of the truth of the gospel and that became the foundation of his theology.
Biblically, the Christian education is to teach someone abut the God's word, how our faith is woven into each area of our learning, and more importantly to know the purpose and meaning through God's will for our life.

                                                      PRAYER

Lord Jesus , reveal your purpose  and will in our life and transform us  to live a fruitful life acceptable in thy sight. Amen.

Thought for the Day
So often we look at our past with either guilt or bitterness. No matter how painful or awful our past was, God can still use it for His glory.
