Jesus Christ who Leads to Wholistic Healing

Bible portion   Galatians 6:11-16

5 Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is the new creation.

Devotional Text
Wholistic healing in biblical settings means physical, mental, and spiritual healing. In a world setting it means physical and mental healing. If you go to a doctor with a physical or mental infirmity, the doctor tries to eliminate the infirmity without knowing or knowing why it occurs in the first place. Jesus Christ heals you and me by removing the root cause and forgiving the sin. In St. John: 5:14 Jesus is talking to the person he healed before ‘“See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you.” Jesus sees us entirely (physical/mental and spiritual), nothing hidden from Him.   If I explain the theme verse it may be like this ‘It is not important whether we observe the law or not; what is important is our faith and Grace of God’.
God created us with freedom of choice. If you select/have faith in Jesus Christ we are a new creation. Our trust in the Lord makes us worthy of His Grace, sufficient for peaceful living to do His will. But the reality is that we like to be in both boats, with Jesus Christ and after the world. It is not words that count much, it is our actions and daily living experiences. Can we follow Jesus, and be a new creation, as our faith warrants, may God help us.

                                                                  Prayer
Our Father in heaven let your name be praised. Let our life be a new creation in Jesus Christ appropriate for bringing glory to your name by every activity in our life. O Lord you are the medicine and the Doctor for all our sickness, bless us and your Grace is sufficient for all our infirmities. We pray that Holly Spirit strengthens us not just to obey the law, but also that Your greater plans and purpose be executed in our lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen
                                                        Thought for the Day
(2 Corinthians 3:6) The letter of the law kills, but the Spirit pours out life.
