 GROW IN THE DIVINE WISDOM

 Ephesians 1:15-19

V 18: ” I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. “

The apostle Paul expresses his sincere prayers for the Ephesian believers in his epistle to the Ephesians. He mentions their love for other believers as well as their confidence in the Lord Jesus Christ. He wants something deeper for them, though something that goes beyond common knowledge. He yearns for their hearts to be opened, for them to get a more profound understanding of God's knowledge and wisdom. Paul's prayer is not merely a request; rather, it is a passionate appeal for Christians to recognize the magnitude of God's calling on their life. It is a call to delve into the boundless riches of His beautiful inheritance in the saints. It is a motivation to comprehend the majesty of His might, which is accessible to everyone who believes.

This prayer is also applicable to us now. We are all invited to have our hearts enlightened and to explore the vast riches of God's calling, inheritance, and authority. We only get to understand the full meaning of our religion and live a life that is grounded in Christ's strength and hope via such illumination.

The key to understanding God's deep mysteries is the Spirit of knowledge and revelation. Our eyes are enlightened to see the divine realities hidden in His Word because of His direction. Our awareness expands as we allow the Holy Spirit to do His work, and His divine light shines through our hearts and opens the eyes of our hearts.

Prayer

Lord, let your divine grace be upon us throughout our lives. Amen!

Thought for the Day

May we look for the Spirit of wisdom and insight and allow Him to open our hearts eyes. Hope, abundance, and the boundless power of our God will leave an imprint on our life.
