Walking in God’s Wonderland
1 John 1- 10
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. vs.7

What if you get a second chance at something today? How would you do it better? My day was going fine till a not so thoughtful comment got me worked up and before I knew it, I was in a haste to respond back only to wish had I taken the time to think it through.
A time to pause and think, how things would be different. If only Adam and Eve paused and thought about God and asked for His wisdom to handle the situation with the serpent, we would have continued in the same fellowship with God that Adam and Eve had, walking in the light, God Himself, in the Garden of Eden.
But sin entered the world and broke that fellowship. In order to bring us back into fellowship with Him, God sent His Son to die on our behalf. The second chance that Adam and Eve missed has been granted to us in and through Jesus Christ. If we claim to be without sin, we are lying to ourselves. If we claim we have not sinned, we are outrightly saying that we don’t need a Savior to save us from sin’s consequences. We are saying ‘NO’ to God’s rescue mission.
But when we realize that we are sinners and need a Savior to save us from our sins (big and small); when we confess our sins and believe that Jesus Christ died for us, to cleanse us by His blood to make us righteous before His Father; we have fellowship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Through that fellowship when we become aware of God’s presence in our every situation, in our surroundings, His light shines through even in our darkest moments to reveal the beauty in and around us, the beauty in God’s creations. Our very lives, the air we breathe, God’s children around us, the nature around us are all His wonders.
Walking in His wonderland, let us remember to practice being still and giving God the reigns of our good and bad moments; acknowledging that He is God and is in control; asking for His wisdom to overflow from our fellowship with Him into our fellowship with His children and the environment around us, reflecting the very nature of God Himself.

Prayer
Father, we surrender ourselves and what this day might bring us before You. Remind us to be conscious of Your presence with us and to give our thoughts, words and actions into Your hands and to lean on Your wisdom to help us respond in a godly manner.
Thought of the day
Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up. James 4:10
