 Journey with the Risen Christ

Hebrews 11:1-12

From this passage, we see that faith, according to the Bible, is not blind. More than half the verses in the book of Hebrews are dedicated to explaining and evidence to accept the new covenant in Jesus Christ. Faith is not gullible, or senseless. Instead, godly faith is exemplified by the trust. That trust is based on what we know of God, relying on him for the things we do not know. In particular, Godly Faith looks forward, from an eternal perspective, and produces obedience, even in the face of hardship. Since faith relies on what we’ve seen from God and trusts him for the future, it becomes the “assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1-3)
                        1)  Faith allows people to trust God:
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. When we trust in him, we can know for certain that He is leading our lives in the ways He wants us to go.

                           2) Faith in God brings stability:
Having this trust allows us to have stability in our lives. It is much easier to not worry about what is going to happen when we know an all-powerful God is watching over our lives. With Him by our side, the good news is that we have a firm foundation to stand on.

                                 3) Faith Gives Us Strength
Faith gives us strength through God. Knowing that he is on your side brings a lot of comfort and peace of mind. Life is much easier when we know He is on our side.

Prayer
Dear Lord, You are the creator of all things and used to stand all of life. I come to you, acknowledging that your will is best to end that your plan is far greater than any I could ask or imagine. Be with us in Body, Mind, and Spirit. In Jesus’ Most precious name. Amen
