 Incorporated to be One Body  

  1 Corinthians 12:12-20
   “ Just as a body though one has many parts, all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ”.(1 Corinthians 12: 12) 

    Paul wrote this chapter to correct how the Corinthian church viewed different spiritual gifts. Paul wrote this to show that there is no good or bad gift, all gifts that are given to us by the holy spirit are good in the sight of God. He also wanted to tell us that whatever your gift is you still can contribute to the church.

  We all are different  and we make one body of Christ (1Cor 12: 12-14)
 Just as it says in 1 cor 12:12-14 we are all different but we are all baptized in the holy spirit into the body of Christ. Just like how the human body consists of different body parts but still makes one body. In the same way that we are all different with different talents as a gift of God as well but when we come together we make the body christ. (Romans 12:5)

God made you unique for a reason   (1 Cor 12:15-17)
When you look at people and say  I wish their talent and their talent is better than mine, they may be thinking the same. Imagine if everyone in your fellowship only knew to sing, who would pray for you. So God has a reason to provide you with different spiritual gifts. The talents that we have are we willing to use for our savior Jesus Christ? 
God put you in that place for a special reason( 1 Cor 12:18-20)
  When you look at yourself and how you look. your hands are in one spot and your feet are in another spot.  All of these body parts are placed there for a specific reason. Just like that, we all are placed in specific areas of the world with a special reason by God to spread his good news and be witnesses to his grace and mercy.  

Prayer
Dear Lord Heavenly Father,  help us to remember that we are one in Christ. Help us to use our spiritual gifts for your glory. Teach us to help each other to grow in faith. Thank you for making us unique with the special gift and all the abilities that you have given to us. In Jesus name, we pray 
Amen

PRIESTHOOD: THE ANOINTED MINISTRY Exodus 40:12-16 Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting... wash them with water. Then dress Aaron in the sacred garments, anoint him and consecrate him so he may serve me as priest (Exodus 40: 12-13). Priesthood among the people of God was a divine command and initiation. God wanted some people to be separated for the special ministry among his people. God appointed Aaron and his descendants to take up this kind of ministry among the people of God. Priests are always separated and appointed as channels that connect God with his people. All throughout the history of Israel, priests played an important role in connecting people with God and to lead and guide them in the statutes of God. But there are incidents in the Bible where the priests failed in their duties and that led the people to go away from God.
