 Education For Liberation

Colossians 1: 24 - 29
v28 “He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.”

This portion emphasizes the supremacy of Christ over the entire universe and calls Christians to lead godly lives. We are called to exalt Christ in our trials and tribulations by enduring them joyfully. Paul emphasizes that our calling equips us to exalt Christ in our service by working in the power of His Spirit as stewards appointed by Him. God has gifted each one of us and we will only be able to fulfill our calling by relying on the power of the Spirit and trusting the Lord to accomplish his work through us.
We are called to exalt Christ as a message in our daily walk by proclaiming God’s revelation about the indwelling Christ and the hope of glory for everyone who believes.
So we serve Christ well by exalting him in every opportunity provided to us. We exalt him in our trials by enduring them joyfully and exalt him in our service by doing it in the power of His Spirit as His stewards because he has anointed us to do the same. Our faith is not primarily rules or religious ideas, it’s a personal relationship we share with the living, indwelling Christ, who has called us to share His glory with him. What we ought to educate ourselves about is this:
How do we respond when in the Lord’s ministry especially when opened to criticism? And what are the practical steps we ought to take to gain a deeper sense of Christ’s indwelling presence and the hope of glory?
The sole secret is just this: Christ lives in you so that you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It is that simple. That is the substance of our Message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense with an aim to bring each person to maturity. What we need to be working at so hard would be to do our best with the best that God so generously provides us with.

PRAYER
Lord, we pray that you educate our minds to be liberated from immature thinking to understand criticism better and instill in our lives your patience and understanding to evolve into beings with better focus and purpose in our lives to glorify your kingdom on this earth. Amen.
