Holy Trinity Bless Us
2 Corinthians 13:11-13
V13: “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.”
During Paul’s ministry, Corinth was a newly rebuilt bustling important city in the Roman Empire. Paul wrote this epistle to the Corinthians so that they may seek unity for their church within the body of Christ.

A: The Grace of Jesus Christ: Paul prayed that they might have grace just as it takes the grace of God to save a person. 2nd Corinthian 12:9 says, Paul said that in the midst of his affliction God said to him my grace is sufficient for thee.
Grace is God giving us what we need, not what we deserve. Grace is when someone does something for you that you could never deserve, earn or repay. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and he paid it all. Grace is the power from God that gives us both the desire and ability to do his will.
During the pandemic, we had a shortage of healthcare workers. It was stressful to work. Prayer gave me courage and strength to overcome. Our church started prayer meetings and special prayer for workers online. Prayer made a difference. Someone was lifting me up offering an encouraging hand, taking my burden upon himself. That was the grace of Jesus Christ.

B: The Love of God: God’s love completes us and “His Love is perfected in us”.
Romans 8:28 -We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.
God wants good things for us, good things are not material, and they are spiritual. God’s love is agape which is unselfish love.
Healthcare workers are spending time away from their families, taking care of covid patients, and risking their lives. This is sacrificial love.

C:  The Communion of the Holy Spirit:Paul prayed that the Corinthian friends might experience the communion of the Holy Spirit. We need to pray the same thing, for ourselves and others that they would allow the indwelling Holy Spirit to produce fruits which God desires in the life of each believer.
A patient was listening to the sermon of a priest. It was so powerful that it changed her life and she experienced the communion of the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, thank you for your great love, gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit sending Jesus Christ to sacrifice for our sins.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Bear one another's burden and so fulfill the law of Christ.
