Gospel for all People

Reji Valiyakala,

“Peter opened his mouth and said ‘I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality but in every nation the men who fears Him and does what is right is welcome to him’”. “For I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will remember no more” Jeremiah 31:34.

If we believe and trust in the Almighty God we will see the Glory of God revealed. God showers His blessings to all His peoples, and shows no partialities towards them. The people, who fear Him and do what is right, is welcome to Him, and again He promises to us that to know the Lord is forgiveness of our iniquities and sins. We know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with the power and how He went about doing good and healing all that were suppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

All these passages give us the reassurance of God’s promises once we trust in Him, love Him and fear Him. To know the Almighty God, one will gain the strength to live without fear because God is our good Shepherd. In our day to day life, we face a lot of challenges. We try to navigate and solve our problems by ourselves. Sometimes we are successful, and other times we are not. But in these difficult moments, do we trust in God, love and fear Him? Our Father, our good Shepard will take care of us if we choose to be led by Him as one of His flock.  “Even though I walk through the Valley of the Shadow of Death I will fear no evil for you are with me. Your rod and staff they comfort me.” “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.” When God gives us a promise, no evil will befall us nor will any plague come near our tent.

PRAYER

Dear Father Almighty, we thank You for all the promises You have given to us. When we are in trouble we know that You are with us. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
" Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
