"
The Lord shall fight for you " Ex 14 :10-20
The
children of Israel, facing many challenges and trials had
left Egypt but now started complaining to God on their
journey to the promised land.
Life is
not fair. Have you heard this statement? I know that you all have
heard it many times when you turn on the news . We hear so many sad
stories about young and old people in many difficult life
situations looking for help and miracles from God. We may pray about a
situation and God doesn't seem to answer us and we question what is
going on !.
Where
are you God? Are you even there? In Exodus 14: 11 And they said to Moses,
"is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to
die in the wilderness? Why have you treated us this way and brought us out of
Egypt?" Moses told the people "Fear not, stand still and see the
salvation. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see
again."
The Lord
is commanding us today to stop our complaining , the Lord will fight for
us and the Lord will divide all the seas which we are facing today. The Lord
will control our enemy, the Lord will confront our enemy and the Lord will
conquer our enemy, so let us fight the battle with devotion and determination .
The Lord has a
purpose for our life journey and the purpose is for us to inherit that
heavenly place and to occupy the land in that journey. Anyhinderance we may face, will be removed by God.
PRAYER
Renew our strength,
Lord. Fill us with Your supernatural power to overcome each obstacle in our
path. You are our rock and our salvation and we run to You today believing
that You will lift our heavy burdens from us. In Christ name we pray.
Amen
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Do not be afraid, nor
dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but
God's. ( 2 Chron. 20:15 )
