Wisdom for Renewal !

17 The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouting of a ruler among fools.

In our society these days, people care more about money, fame, and other superficial, materialistic things. Yet wisdom is such a greater advantage but is often unrecognized by the public. God’s wisdom can turn what seems like a defeat into a triumphal victory. However, what God says may be rejected by today’s world. But just because it is looked down upon by others, does not mean it is wrong. The world will not approve of how Christianity exposes the sins and illusions of the world and humbles it. So we should not expect the wise words of God to be accepted in this culture. So do not become discouraged but trust God to lead the way.
 

Romans 12:2 says “Do not be conformed to this world,but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.”Whatever you may be going through, let God’s word dictate what is right and wrong.    “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.  In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths”. Proverbs 3: 5-6.

Sometimes it is hard to understand that certain things are out of our control and that we have to leave it in the hands of God. God will never let us down, because He knows us better than any human could ever. His wisdom is something we humans cannot even fathom. You may think you know what is best for yourself but God knows better and He will guide us in all our ways. All we can do is pray for the wisdom to do His will.
  

PRAYER

Father God, help us to lean on your understanding, not our own, and to trust you to guide us in all we do. Help us not to fall to the ways of this world but give us the wisdom to fulfill your will.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
 
“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord, and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” Jeremiah 17:7

PRIESTHOOD: THE ANOINTED MINISTRY Exodus 40:12-16 Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting... wash them with water. Then dress Aaron in the sacred garments, anoint him and consecrate him so he may serve me as priest (Exodus 40: 12-13). Priesthood among the people of God was a divine command and initiation. God wanted some people to be separated for the special ministry among his people. God appointed Aaron and his descendants to take up this kind of ministry among the people of God. Priests are always separated and appointed as channels that connect God with his people. All throughout the history of Israel, priests played an important role in connecting people with God and to lead and guide them in the statutes of God. But there are incidents in the Bible where the priests failed in their duties and that led the people to go away from God.
