God's Salvation for All
"Maintain justice and do what is right, for my salvation is close at hand and my righteousness will soon be revealed".
Blessings of the future (Verses.1-2)
This chapter consists of practical suggestions to live a godly life. The prophet is also explaining the rewards and blessings to those who obey. What the Lord says is maintain justice and do righteousness which is a description of what we might call a God centered life. Keeping justice means doing those things which God has judged to be right, and righteousness is a living in the light of God's character .Here the prophet is exhorting the people to maintain what is right, because God's salvation will come soon. Again the prophet Isaiah links that the present behavior with future salvation and blessings. According to Exodus 20:8-11, keeping the Sabbath was important under the law and it signified that a person believed in the covenant with  the Lord will be blessed. The belief was connected in their daily activities.
God's grace is an equal opportunity (Verses.3-5)
It was commonly believed that foreigners and impaired had no entrance in God's house including the eunuchs. We read in Isaiah 14:1 that even foreigners and eunuchs are not only welcome to join themselves to the Lord, but will receive the eternal blessings of salvation. God's new covenant of grace offers to all and no one is excluded. V.4 and 5 reads, “For this is what the Lord says: “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant, to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will endure forever”.
Promise to the faithful (Verses 6-8)
Vs.6 reads that the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, to minister to Him and to love the name of the Lord, to be His servants, everyone who keeps from profaning the Sabbaths and holds fast my Covenant.
God's promises
God gave these promises to us, 1. I will bring them to my holy mountain. Psalm 43:3 Welcome to journey with Him.2. I will make them joyful in my house of prayer. 3. Their burn offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my alter.
Prayer: O Lord, help us to be faithful to accept your promises in our daily life.
Thought for the day: If More Prayers and Praises then more Blessings.
